| I want to give my friend to use one part of my website hosting to keep files on my hosting.But i don't want give them permission to go to my website directory.How i can set this ? I found this part od code : echo "<tr bgcolor=\"#F2F2F2\"><td>[ <a href=\"$PHP_SELF?path=$path/$dir\">up one level</a> ]</td></tr>"; Can i take of this ? I want to make folder for my friend but o don't want give them to my root directory. |

| You should be OK removing that. It won't stop him having access completely as he could still enter the URL to get access to your files but if he's not likely to do that you should be fine. |
